These beautiful mango wood chopping boards are almost too good to use! The natural grain of the mango wood really shines through. The chopping boards are available in three sizes and come with a leather tie; perfect for hanging out of the way (they also look really rather nice hanging up.)

The mango wood we use is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers. Mango wood is a hard wood that comes in many shades from light to dark.

Nice item, though picture on website is a bit misleading. The chopping board in reality has a tapering shape, but from the photo you wouldn't notice this and just think it's rectangular. In the photo it just looks like perspective.
