Nineteen Seventy Three is the year James and Emma Emmerson were born. The company started from their kitchen table in 2003. The brand is a direct result of their desire to produce products that they felt were missing from the market. They wanted to create products that took inspiration from everything from contemporary art, fashion and design.
We are now an eco paper company based near Brighton on the south coast. We work with lots of designers as well as create our own in-house ranges. We are predominantly a greetings card company however, we are starting to produce more stationery and mugs. It is of the utmost importance that all products are made and printed in the UK where viable. Nearly all products are made from recycled paper or paper from sustainable forests. We also use biodegrable cellos and acid free inks.
