This beautiful and unique bird feeder is designed and hand crafted by The Natural Wood Company.
The perfect all year round gift for the bird lover and gardener.
They are designed to be equally at home either as part of a busy feeding station, quietly hanging on their own in the garden under a tree or on a secluded balcony.
The bottom half of the feeder acts as a deep seed trough, and the slightly over size top as a shelter, to keep the seed dry and allow small birds (Blue Tit's etc.) to actually get inside the feeder to graze at their leisure.
Variations
The feeder’s perfectly smooth round body suspended by the supplied 35cm thin wire makes it virtually impossible for squirrels to access the seed. it's actually satisfyingly funny to watch the squirrels puzzled faces as they try to get to the seed.
The Ash feeders are available in two sizes: small & medium and look great hanging together as a pair or with some of the others in the range.
GIFT BOX OPTION: If required , the feeder can be packed in a beautiful made to measure, black box in a bed of black and dark brown tissue. We can also add a personal note to a tag attached to the feeder inside the box. The gift box is enclosed in a double thickness outer box, on delivery all you have to do is remove the outer postal box and your gift is ready.

Made from
It’s turned from a single block of locally sourced English Ash and finished using 4 coats of our secret recipe acrylic lacquer, then burnished to a smooth semi gloss finish, so it can stay out in all weathers all year round.
All the timber we use is the very best locally sourced we can find and is always obtained sustainably, for example, some pieces are crafted from fallen or storm damaged trees on local private estates. It’s then air-and or kiln-dried for at least 12 months before being used to make a beautiful and functional product. We also try to make sure all our packaging is made from natural, sustainable materials, using recycled card and paper whenever possible. Always working hard to maintain and improve The Natural Wood Company’s reputation for designing and making beautiful products for the home and garden.
