Mr Yen Papercuts

Mr Yen taught himself to papercut through hours, days, months and years of practice, persistence and patience and through doing so, he found a passion for his technique, tools and materials. His passion for his medium and technique drives him to work hard and he believes that hand cut artwork and designs have more value than laser/machine cut pieces as you can see the human element within them - whether that is a slightly angular curve or the fact that a single design will have slight variations between each piece cut.
