This is a riso print of Robert Shadbolt's illustration of Manchester United, based on their line up 100 years ago.
The first in the "Thema e Variazioni: Manchester and Salford" series, illustrator Robert Shadbolt has been making delightful drawings based on current and historical references in Greater Manchester.
Riso-printing is a similar process to screen-printing, so there are subtle variations in the surface of the print, creating a unique quality.
Printed with soya ink on to 120gm recycled paper, which has a few natural flecks, adding to its charm.Size: 297x300mm.
Comes unframed, rolled in a postal tube for mailing. (The 30x30cm square frame in the photo is from Paperchase)
