This is a bespoke single bed patchwork counterpane or throw hand-made from vintage and recycled cotton. The colour scheme is pink and lilac for a funky feminine feel without the frills. It is excellent as an extra layer on cold winter nights or as a single layer during the summer. We have also used these as a baby's play rug or a picnic blanket. The throw has a patchwork top, a wool blanket middle and a plain cotton backing. You could buy a pair and have a complementary twin bed or twin bunk set. These could be made to your individual colour specifications. For example, we can also incorporate pieces of your own fabric, e.g. first proper dress, granny's blouse, anything with particularly nice memories. Just ask.
