Mother of Pearl Atelier. (Atelier is French for workshop.) We are a small concern based in Dorset making stylish and contemporary pieces for discerning buyers who see themselves as individuals with taste and style.
Almost everything you will see on our site is a one-off creation guaranteed never to be duplicated. You can be sure of originality when you buy from us!
We are proud to re-use and reclaim our materials, ensuring minimal environmental impact and a new lease of life for beautiful and unusual fabrics which would otherwise have gone to waste.

New cushions- nautical but nice...
Hello, and thank you for visiting the Mother of Pearl Atelier pages. We hope you like what you see.
New on the site this month are two hand-knitted FairIsle design cushions featuring nautical motifs: SeaScape and Shoreline.
Also new are Autumn Leaves, brown-based rich and warm striped cushions. You will find others, too- Toboggan and PurpleStripe.
If you would like one of any of these cushions in a similar design, just drop me a line!
As usual they are one-offs, so see what you think and buy early for that special gift.
