Pleated 'Skirt' Purse by Mi Mariposa

 A make up bag or a purse with a difference, these are one of a kind.

These funky, bright purses are made from the pleated skirts of the Cayambe Indians of Ecuador and are utterly unique.

With a co-ordinated lining and sturdy zip, each purse comes with a chunky tagua (a sustainable, vegetable ivory) key ring and is made by a home working member of the Mi Mariposa co-operative.

Width: 18cm, Height: 12cm, key ring 10cm long.

Mi Mariposa makes beautiful things, lovingly embroidered by hand, providing a living regular wage to our women's co-operative in Highland Ecuador.
