We were asked to make these by our local independent bookseller and they have since become one of our best sellers.
Our oak bookends are handmade in sustainable local timber, sourced from small, independent suppliers. Each pair will have its own unique grain pattern, determined by the life of the tree from which its timber has come.
Finished in traditional oil to really bring out the natural beauty of the grain, a little furniture wax once a year should be enough to keep them looking like they should and, like all good things, improving as they mature with age.

As this was a gift I would have liked to have had a card or leaflet from the maker to put in with it say more about the product and his company. Good product though
