Each plectrum is made to order, personally by Melinda taking 3-5 working days production before dispatch.
Crafted from 100% recycled .999 Fine Silver clay (more pure than .925 Sterling Silver), rather than sheet metal. This creates occasional imperfections and size and shape variations may naturally occur during firing, which give a uniqueness and charm.
The size is modelled on a normal plectrum, though slightly larger! Measures approx 2.5cm width x 2.5cm length and weights approx 3.5-4 grams.
Stamped on front with your personal message, and small date eg:14/02/2012, (14 February 2012 will not fit) or initials on reverse.

Leather Necklace with simple lobster clasp measures 47cm (18inches). Five colours available: black or pearlised white, pink, aqua, gold. Please advise the length you require.
Each plectrum takes 8-10 different processes, 2 hours of hands-on work, made over 1 week in batches. Please allow longer during busy periods like Father's Day, Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
Customised with your choice of wording, a stamp is made for each personalisation. The clay is sculptured, stamped and left to dry overnight. It is then fired for 4 hours, sanded for an hour and tumbled for 2 hours. Finally, it is oxidized and polished to highlight the rich patina.
The text is as shown, however, if your personalisation is too long, the artist reserves the right to change the text, sometimes to lower case, so it fits. If you want a plain plectrum, please contact Melinda.
Not recommended for actual use! Precious metal isn't flexible enough to withstand usage so advise this for legal reasons! However, we received loads of comments from customers that it gives a different sound, great!
Note: Like all recycled products, there are imperfections that show up after firing. Whilst I do my best to polish these out, sometimes they must be left other I could sand away the piece to nothing! As it is a clay product, the stamp often shows through on the reverse. It's not meant to look completely perfect.

This product is dispatched to you by Melinda Mulcahy.
All orders, UK or International are posted via Royal Mail's Signed For/Recorded Service which normally take 1-3 days following dispatch, International approx 5 working days. Please ensure the recipient is available to sign for the parcel.
URGENT ORDERS, please contact Melinda to prioritise within reason, but this is not guaranteed. If your order needs to be received by a certain day, please request Special Delivery to speed up and guarantee a delivery date, allowing for production times! Melinda can not take responsibility if an item has not been received by a specific date.
You will be advised of an "approximate" dispatch date upon accepting the order. You will then be advised upon dispatch, the estimated date you will receive your parcel. Delivery dates are estimates only and the artist will not take responsibility if orders are late!
Melinda is unable to provide tracking numbers for every single customer. If you feel your order has taken longer than normal (after 3 days of dispatch), please contact Melinda for a tracking number which can be checked on the Royal Mail website.
Melinda takes no financial responsibility for returned parcels! If a parcel is return for ANY reason, the purchaser will be contacted and further arrangements will be made at the cost of the purchaser.
