Automoblox Sports Series by Me and My Car
The new sports series from Automoblox has just roared into town. More supercar than the original series, they retain all the great Automoblox trademarks.
Designed by Patrick Calello, Automoblox are unique in their ability to be completely dismantled and reassembled. Wooden sections, roof, wheels and tyres all come apart. Add a second or third model to the collection and as all parts are interchangeable, fledgling car mechanics and designers can make whatever new concept car their imagination creates. Each car also comes with people who fit inside and are removable to enhance the play value.
These beautifully crafted cars are built to last, consciously designed to become heirloom toys that are passed from one generation to the next. To this end, extremely tough polycarbonate plastic is combined with wood to create cars that can withstand a 50kg weight, while the wooden blocks have 3 layers of non-toxic laquer to protect against scratches and dents.
