A unique candleholder inspired by meditation. Individual candleholders can be stacked up like beach stones, or each pebble used individually. Includes a Buddhist blessing.
This solid hardwood candle holder is handcrafted in our Somerset studio by Thai artist and former Buddhist monk, Kung Mana Tongmee. The piece was inspired by Kung's meditation practice and blends sustainable English pear, and Asian Sapele hardwoods to represent a blending of cultures.
The candleholder consists of four pieces, each of which can be used as an individual tealight holder. Or all four can be stacked up to form a single, striking candleholder.
The tealight recesses are inlaid with gold leaf used in temples in Thailand, giving an added rich glow to the candlelight. Each candleholder is packed with its own thai buddhist blessing, hand calligraphed on parchment paper. This is a truly unique centrepiece and conversation starter at any dinner party, and a beautiful piece of art to enjoy.
100% sustainable solid Pear and Sapele Hardwood, with real gold leaf inlay. Finished with 100% natural, highest quality wax to let the beauty of the wood shine through.
