Lucy Wilkins graduated in 2014 with a first class honours degree in 'Surface Design and Printed Textiles' where she specialised in hand screen printings with a strong use of hand-drawn playful designs and illustrations.

Lucy's collection of hand-designed prints have all taken inspiration from the 1950's retro era for its colour palette and kitsch patterns, aswell as nostalgic memories as a child from her yearly camping holidays by the seaside which make up most of the collection.

Using traditional methods of printing Lucy also has her own letterpress printer at the end of her garden in a makeshift studio, where she produce a range of hand letterpress printed cards. Lucy started out with the idea of bringing together her love of quotes and saying, combining them with her quirky hand-drawn illustrations. Each design, whether it be a print or card is designed to make one smile or spark a memory.
