The fabric for this Kimono fabric is made from two different kimonos: the sleeves and main part of the bodice are from Plume Blossom and the front and back yoke are called Crazy Chrysanthemum – both circa 1950s. The pattern is very striking with lovely bright bold colours in reds, greens, pinks and yellows in flowers and swirls.
The front crosses over in the traditional Kimono jacket-style and the top half is made in vintage kimono pieces and the bottom in 100% cotton sateen and fully lined. The front is fastened with little black ties.

This Kimono jacket is a one-off piece. Purchase and you are safe in the knowledge that you have acquired a unique handmade garment that is uniquely yours to treasure.
Given that this fabric is more than 50 years old there may be occasional marks and slight imperfections, but this all adds to the character and uniqueness of the fabric.
