This is a vintage 1970s inspired bomber jacket, the bodice and collar of this bomber jacket is made from a bolt of vintage kimono light weight silk, made circa 1970. The fabric is white and pale pink with finely woven roses running through the soft shinny silk fabric.
The bomber jacket has front and back yoke with standard collar, patch pockets and zips up at the front. The raglan bell shaped sleeves are made in a contrasting white silk satin fabric and gather into cotton lycra cuffs.
This gorgeous bomber jacket is a season must have, its very versatile and goes particularly well with any of Lizzie O skirts and shorts.
This Bomber Jacket is a UK 8, two more jackets can be made from the bolt of fabric. Purchase and you are safe in the knowledge that you have acquired a unique handmade garment that is uniquely yours to treasure.
All of my kimono fabrics are very special to me and I know they will be to you as well. They have a unique feel, each coming with its own sense of history and memories. Touch them and you connect with a time gone by.
Given that this fabric is more than 30 years old there may be occasional marks and slight imperfections, but this all adds to its character and uniqueness.
