This is a beautiful embroidered picture of a boat, perfect for a little boys room. It is indivdually made to order and can be personalised with the child's name and date of birth is required .It would make a lovely present for a birth or christening.
It features a boat, made using blue and white fabrics with red accents. Then I have added some hand embroidery and buttons and beads.The child's name is embroidered under the boat.
As both vintage and new fabrics are used the fabrics, buttons etc can vary from those in the photograph, however the colours will all based on blues and reds.
This product comes in a stunning white frame and the approximate size of the frame is width 19cm x height 24 cm.
This frame comes wrapped in tissue paper and is sent in a cardboard box and wrapped securely so it doesn't get damaged during delivery.

02 Sep 2011Love the actual picture but there are a couple of things I am dissapointed with. One of them is the date that I asked to be put on, it reads 13 rather than 13th. This is something small but something that will bug me forever. Its also a gift for a friend (both of whom are teachers) I know they will pick up on this instantly. The second is that the frame has a couple of little marks and one very small chip. Again nothing major but I wouldnt have picked it up and bought it in the shop. I do feel that I will be handing them a less than perfect gift. On the plus side, I love the actual picture. Its also packaged very nicely. Nice product, shame about the details.

I am so so sorry that you were not happy with the personalised boat picture. If you had contacted me I would of course have sent you a replacement frame as it may have got damaged in transit. This really doesn't happen very often but I have always sent one out the next day when it has happened. As much as we wrap them well sometimes Royal Mail can be a bit rough in handling. I also do not add the" th" on the dates of the pictures any more, as it is free hand machine embroidered the "th" can look very hard to read. This is the problem with doing free hand machine embroidery, small letters can be terribly difficult to embroider and after many th's not translating well onto my picture, I decided not to embroider it any more. I have found in the past that this has never been a problem, however if you really would like it embroidered on to your picture I can re-embroider it for you. I would much rather do this than have someone really unhappy with handing over my work as a gift. So sorry once again, and let me know if you would like me to add the "th" on your picture and send out a replacement frame.
