This sewing guide has been designed to show you how to create simple, easy to sew cushion covers using your favourite fabrics. This envelope style (no zip) cushion cover will quickly and easily add a splash of colour to any room.
Please note this sale is for a sewing guide that will be downloadable from you account once your order has been accepted. It is not a paper copy. You will need to log in to your account and go to the ‘my orders’ section, find your order with us and click on ‘order enquiry’, where you will see the attachment and can download it.
The guide for this project has step-by-step instructions in straight forward language. It is illustrated with close up photographs at every step.
Each cushion requires less than 1m of fabric and matching thread to complete. The guide shows you how to cut out your fabric using simple square and rectangular shapes (no difficult measuring) and how to hem, place and pin the three main fabric pieces to create a fantastic cushion cover. You will learn how to neaten seams, trim corners and hem the envelope closure. Please note no materials are included with the guide.
This project is suitable for anyone who can use a sewing machine to stitch straight and zigzag seams. You will need some basic sewing equipment to complete this design including pins, scissors, tape measure and iron. Measurements are given to make both a 40 and 45cm square cushion cover (16" and 18").
This product is a guide only and does not include any fabric or materials for completing the project. The images of completed cushion covers are for example only to show how versatile they are and how easy it is to adapt to any colour scheme.
This pattern is sold as a PDF attachment which you will be able to download and save to your PC. You can then print if you wish.
