This sewing guide has been designed to show you how to create a fun, bright reversible tote bag using two co-ordinating tea towels. Perfect for the beach, shopping or picnics in the park.
Please note this sale is for a sewing guide that will be downloadable from you account once your order has been accepted. It is not a paper copy. You will need to log in to your account and go to the ‘my orders’ section, find your order with us and click on ‘order enquiry’, where you will see the attachment and can download it.
The guide for this project has step-by-step instructions in straight forward language. It is illustrated with close-up photographs at every step.
Each tote bag requires two tea towels of the same size, we used two measuring 70 x 47cm, some cotton tape/webbing and matching thread to complete. The guide shows you how to create a gussett base, how to place and fix the handles securely and complete a reversible fully lined tote. The finished bag will measure approximately 45 x 33cm wide. Please note no materials are included with the guide.
This project is suitable for anyone who can use a sewing machine to stitch straight seams. You will need some basic sewing equipment to complete including pins, scissors, tape measure and an iron.
This product is a sewing guide only and does not include any fabric or materials for completing the project. The images of completed tea towel totes are for example only.
This pattern is a sold as a PDF attachment which you will be able to download and save to your PC once your order is accepted. You can then print if you wish or work from your PC.
