Our vibrant Homemaker bookcase is a humble yet charming storage solution which brings British mid-century modernism into the 21st century. The Homemaker bookcase is aptly named after the iconic Ridgway Homemaker crockery range of the late 1950's.
We have celebrated the mid-century style with a design that highlights the clean and minimal furniture associated with the era. However, in an attempt to give the design a modern appeal we offer our bookcase in a range of colours to cater for present trends.
The bookcase is currently available in lime green, primrose yellow, or pale blue.
Our Homemaker bookcase was featured in Grand Designs magazine. Issue 80 October 2010.
The bookcase is constructed from high quality Finnish birch plywood.
Dimensions: 85 x 65 x 28cm
Our plywood is sourced from sustainably managed Finnish forests. The bookcase is coated and later finished with water-based paint and clear varnish to minimize any effect on our environment.
