A unique illustrated map of a favourite journey, special holiday or honeymoon, drawn to order by artists in Devon.
Each illustration shows the location of your trip and a hand-drawn building from that city. We can either choose a monument or view that sums up the city or we can even draw the actual hotel you stayed in. We can draw just the one location or can include where you have travelled from (eg: London to Paris), or multiple locations if you travelled around. Include the country in the text so we know we have the right city!
Variations
We colour the map in a range of muted colours - duck egg blue, stone and sage. Every illustration is printed with a message in a hand painted typeface with the date of the trip underneath. On the map we'll include the main locations you have mentioned, and any other places you may have stopped on the journey.
How to provide a photo: After ordering go to 'my orders' on your notonthehighstreet.com account. Submit an 'order enquiry' then upload a digital photo here (one at a time) or send us weblinks. To give us guidance of the map area you want, take a screenshot of the area on google maps and upload that aswell.
We always send a digital proof of the artwork to check before printing - it will be uploaded via a customer enquiry for you to check.

Made from
Hand-drawn illustration coloured on the computer for lovely solid lines and digitally printed in a graphic, contemporary style with offset block colours on 200gsm acid free, fine grain artists paper. All prints supplied with a white, bevel-cut window mount.
Our frames are all handmade in the UK from solid wood with a 2cm wide profile- choose from 3 styles (see image thumbnail for colours). Supplied with integrated hanging hook and Pilkington glass (extra large frames are glazed with high grade UV perspex for glare reduction and safe shipping).
