Seascape is an exciting and unique glow-in-the-dark lampshade. The printed image on the lampshade depicts an underwater view of the sea with blue lines showing the different depths of the water. The lampshade features sea creatures including whales, shark, colossus squid, swordfish, octopus and an oil rig! Next to each animal is its name and the measurement of the animal in metres.
The sea creatures are printed in special blue phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark) ink which charges up when the light is on. When the bulb is switched off the shapes of the sea creatures glow up in bright blue, emitting a soft glow for up to four hours and creating a stunning night-light for a bedroom. The main product image shows the lamp glowing once the bulb has been switched off.
An educational, novel and fun product for boys and girls, young and old!
Dimensions: 18cm diameter, 30cm height. Bulb: 11 watt max - energy saving bulb. Seascape has an adaptable light fitting and so fits all UK and European ceiling light fittings.
Seascape is a pendant lampshade for ceiling light fittings. Unable to be adapted as a table lamp. Due to small parts the product must be ceiling hung and safely out of reach of children.

Love the appearance & the glow lasts very well! On the negative side, the part which attaches to the light fitting was broken on arrival (though still usable) & the shade was attached to it with thumbtacks - which kept coming apart. It is very flimsy & quite expensive for what it is - but it does look lovely up!
