Ceramic Vase with Button Detail by Lauren Denney

This handmade white ceramic vase has a  row of grey and clear buttons attached to the front. These buttons are sewn through holes with nylon thread. 

The main body of the vase is cast in earthenware slip. Once the slip has dried the holes are added and it is then fired. It's glazed with a off white matt glaze.

This vase is glazed inside and holds water up to the level of the ribbon. It measures 26.5 cm with a base diameter of 8.5cm.
