This handmade chunky wooden day bed is bold and seriously rustic. It serves equally well as a substantial sofa or as a large single bed - perfect for lounging with legs stretched out and comfortable to sleep on. This is a big piece of furniture so please make sure you have noted the measurements.
All of our furniture is handmade in Kenya, so each piece is unique. This day bed has square legs but we have a similar one with round legs, so please contact us if you want us to email pictures of it to you.
This piece comes as the frame only and includes slats, but not a mattress. It fits a mattress of about 6' x 3.5' and we strongly recommend that you measure it once the bed is assembled before ordering a mattress. One option is to buy a made-to-order foam mattress, which can easily be bought online.
The day bed will be delivered by courier in five pieces with bolts to fasten it. We will provide basic instructions although a bit of common sense and patience is needed to assemble it. If you are in the London area, we are happy to deliver and assemble it for you.
