"Black Tears" is an open edition, signed and titled giclée print of an illustration by Kirsty Baynham.
Pencil, ink and digital image, inspired by navajo tribe textiles. The grey and black wolf is composed of tiny, floral patterns, diamonds, triangles, leaves, stripes, lovehearts and petals. A colourful motif sits at the top right of the print, in lemon-lime, vivid peach, dusky pink and dark grey. Very fine, intricate linework and textures.
The print is available both framed and unframed. The frame is a white box frame made of high quality, Scandinavian pine sourced from sustainable forestation. It comes complete with styrene acrylic glazing and a white, bevel-cut mount. Fixings are provided for hanging, or alternatively, the frame can stand freely.
This piece was hand-printed on a small giclée printer, using ten, vibrant ink colours to create a vivid and detailed, longlasting print. It is printed onto a soft, lightly textured paper, 190gsm in weight.
The size of the unframed print is A4 (21 x 29.7 cm). When framed, the complete piece measures 28 x 36 cm.
