Welcome to Kids Creative!

Kids Creative is a small independent furniture business created by myself, Kate Caven. I completed a BDes Honours degree in Product design at Edinburgh Napier university in 2015. With my combination of love for furniture and children's environments, I took the step to start up my own business to design and make quality children's furniture. Since then, I have created a range of beautiful products in my fully functioning workshop where everything is made.

I have chosen to use high quality 18mm birch plywood and colourful laminate for the construction of the furniture and it is put together using quality connector bolts. The combination of these materials create a sturdy and durable product - perfect for little one’s most adventurous years and many more! Everything from design, laminating, CNC cutting & finishing happens in the workshop - nothing has been outsourced. By keeping everything in house I am able to make sure every step is carried out with care and precision, all in all resulting in a fantastic quality product.

I believe in building furniture that families can treasure and my range is available in several different colours with the option to personalise.
