A canvas print taken from an original abstract painting by Jo Nash.
Waves Study Three is the last piece in a triptych produced by the Artist. The sea heavily influences the original triptych. The movement of the waves and the water influenced the gestural use of paint and the way the images are layered and dispersed in this piece.
I wanted the fluidity of the sea and the ever-changing aspects and movement of the water spoke to me greatly about time. With layering and paint I wanted to represent the way memories change and fragment through time and the confusion that occurs when we try to recall long forgotten things.
The print of this painting offers you the chance to have an original piece of artwork in your home, to brighten up a forgotten wall.
This piece can also be bought as part of a Triptych with two other prints.
