A beautiful personlised decoration handmade in porcelain, perfect to commemorate a family event or occasion.
A sweet and simple Scandinavian style dove handmade in my ceramics studio.
The little porcelain dove would make the perfect gift or souvenir to remember significant family events such as a new arrival or baby's first Christmas, impressed with letter stamps to spell out your baby's name.
This personalised hanging decoration would make a delightful addition to baby's nursery, or would look just as at home with baubles and ribbons hanging on the Christmas tree.
As well as making a perfect Christmas or nursery decoration, it can also be personalised with a couple's names to make a thoughtful wedding gift.
It can work perfectly as a love token for a Valentine's gift as well.
Each bird is decorated on one side with a red heart painted with underglaze colour and personalised with a name or names.
Beneath the heart I impress the name or names using small upper case letter stamps. The letters are approx 4mm high. Each name is flanked by two stars, or if two names are requested a star is instead impressed between the names.
There is a maximum of 13 characters in total to appear on a bird. If the name is hyphenated this will be included in the character count. The stars are not included in the character count however.
Use the field above to type the name (remember it will be impressed on the decoration in capitals only). For just one name use the Name 1 box, for two names insert the first name in the order you want it to appear on the bird in the Name 1 box, then the second in the Name 2 box. I will impress the star between the two names.
The birds hang from a 30cm length of tartan ribbon. This gives plenty of length to tie an attractive bow to hang it from. The tartan used may vary from those shown in the images. Please use the drop down menu to select your choice of tartan or choose the 'no preference' option if you don't mind.

Handmade from porcelain embellished with red underglaze heart and impressed personalised decoration. Should the bird become grubby it can be wiped clean with damp cloth.
100% polyester ribbon.
