The Suvikumpu World Traveller Leather Satchel is a sophisticated, versatile and robust leather bag made by John Todd.
Meaning 'Summer-knoll' in Finnish, the inspiration behind this sumptuous 'Suvikumpu' world traveller satchel is the Garden City Tapiola in Helsinki, Finland, renowned for its sophisticated Scandinavian atmosphere and lovely open spaces.
Wherever your journey leads, this bag, designed and made entirely in England, is ideally suited as a companion accessory. It will easily carry all the things one might need to hand when globe trotting, but is equally able to hold a 15" laptop, phone, note pads, and document folders when travelling everyday to work.
Variations
This bag is made to be worn either over the shoulder or across the body using the adjustable strong strap. We prefer to make a full leather strap for you, but linen and leather options are available on request.
The 'Suvikumpu' world traveller satchel is made as either a standard version or as a deluxe version. Both standard and deluxe versions of the Suvikumpu can be made with either fabric or leather side panels as shown in the images.
Both standard & deluxe versions have a slim secondary compartment inside the main inner compartment, while the deluxe version is fully lined in a choice of soft pigskin suede and/or fabric. Suede colours include; Tan, Grey, Purple, Sunflower, Tangerine, Poppy, Fuschia & Plum, but others are available on request.
A choice of other additional internal pockets and compartments can be added, including a detachable iPhone holder that can be used separately from the bag.
The leather colours currently available for both versions are: Chestnut, Black, Red, Green and Black Cherry with either matching leather or fabric side panels.
The Suvikumpu, World Traveller Leather Satchel can be personalised with a name or monogram.

Made from
Superior quality Tuscan and Milanese full-grain leather with limited edition metal fittings exclusive to Johny Todd. It has an adjustable strong strap and either leather or fabric side panels, this is a bag for the person looking for originality, durable master-craftsmanship, exclusive design and bespoke customer collaboration.
All parts of the bag can be treated occasionally with a leather conditioner. Use a spray-on nano-protector only for fabric and suede elements. Please ask for recommended products & methods of treatment.
As with all natural organic materials there may be variations in the look, tones and texture of the leather used in each bag.
