Jo and Jack Jewellery

Jo and Jack Jewellery pieces are hand crafted by Joanna Baker in her South London home/studio using sterling silver, gold vermeil, gold plated metal as well as fairtrade silver.

Precious metals are combined with complementary materials such as gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and mother of pearl shell to create exciting and destinctive designs. Elements from nature are a constant theme throughout Joanna's jewellery including leaves, flowers, shells, birds, butterflies and bees.

Jewellery techniques such as wire wrapping, hammer finishing and stamping patterns into the silver are used. Also Joanna integrated fair trade silver beads and pendants into a number of designs including the lovely bluebell and calla flower pendants. These are crafted by hill tribe communities in remote areas of northern Thailand and using their beads helps to support their unique and self sufficient way of life.

Since starting out in 2008 Joanna has built up steady sales and a loyal following and enjoys commissions for special one off pieces and for bridal designs.
