The irregular stripes of the Tucan are unique to Maya Kotan, the pattern was inspired by the the colours of the sky at sunset and sunrise, these are most prominent in the Sol design.

Handmade using a backstrap loom, an ancient Mayan tradition passed down from generation to generation. It’s a technique that requires plenty of time, focus and patience, and each Rominko scarf has taken over 3 days to make.

When looked after well, our scarves last a lifetime. We recommend washing in a cool machine wash, and then hanging to air dry.
