Originally designed by Jacqui for a family anniversary.. this modern sampler has received a lot of love from cross stitchers desperate for a modern sampler for a modern marriage!.. she was also asked to create a version for the ROYAL WEDDING which we also sell. It is perfect to wrap as a gift in kit form or if you are crafty you can stitch it up yourself as a gift / ring cushion / wedding gift. It comes with a full alphabet chart, for you to personalise. OR alternatively for a small fee we can CREATE a PERSONALISED CHART PDF for your names (max 12 characters) and dates.
Our kits are all designed by Jacqui Pearce in house and created in our studio by our small team. Many hands touch your kit before it reaches you - as we lovingly hand twist every hank and pick and pack every detail. These are not kits created in a big factory, which enables us to offer the width of designs that we do.

DETAILS: 10hpi, crewel wool, 40 x 30cm (finished size)
Canvas: Quality Zweigart canvas. We think that this is the best quality canvas you can buy. The HPI are the number of holes per inch on a straight line within the canvas - 10hpi is great for beginners or those wishing to try a new medium.
Wool: We give you plenty of Appleton brothersr 2 ply crewel wool. Enough to stitch with the recommended stitch technique. Only one strand of wool is needed for tapestry designs and a double fold yarn for the crewel wool. All wool is supplied in neat twisted hanks.
Needles: Two quality John James tapestry needles - one to use and one to keep! You could always have 2 yarns on the go. Plus a threader for wools.
Instructions & Chart: Full instructions are provided including detailed stitch charts and stitching diagrams, teaching you the basics of cross stitch techniques. The kit is a COUNTED CROSS STITCH chart and is not printed on the canvas - so each coloured square corresponds to the same colour cross stitch on the canvas. This provides for a more accurate finished stitched piece.
**PLEASE NOTE - The kit contains all you need to complete the cross stitch needlepoint piece and NOT the fabrics / frames or trims to finish your piece. Also whilst normally all the colours are as shown on the chart, sometimes we have to substitute colours due to supply which is out of our control
