Our limited edition 'Qunitessential’ walled mattress beds are super stylish and superbly patriotic in what is set to be a very British year …what with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and various sporting events! Based on our 'Sumptuous' bed design, this British made British design is just screaming 'Your Doggy Needs One' and 'Keep Calm and Carry On Snoozing'!
This bed is a design classic, featuring deep side panels to give a neat and tidy box shape whilst providing the ultimate in luxury and comfort for your dog to sink into. It is luxuriously filled with Extra Deep hollow fibre fill to give maximum thermal duvet effect...So important because after testing out lots of beds we noticed there was more snoozing to be done if the bed was deep and plumpy, rather than thin and lumpy! Our hard-wearing covers are handmade with 100% cotton, easily removable via a zip and machine washable inside out at 30 degrees.
The bed also includes a removable waterproof nylon internal liner, which provides a protective layer to the hollow fibre filling on the top side of the bed, reducing the need to wash the inner pillow. The waterproof liner will prevent any unwanted moisture seeping through from wet and muddy paws producing unwanted damp doggy smells. It also provides a defence barrier, reducing the likelihood of fleas and bacteria getting into the inner pillow and nesting and breeding. The liner is held in place with a mesh fabric, allowing the pillow to stay aerated.
We personally have noticed that whatever make of bed we have bought our dogs over the years, it was never long before it flattened considerably. Therefore, we like to make sure that all our beds leave the workshop slightly overstuffed, so if they flatten slightly they still ensure the maximum snoozability factor and a longer life of the bed.
