Jaipur, India, is a fascinating place to meander round, where artisans engage in age-old traditional crafts such as block printing, gem cutting and embroidery,. The colourful bazaars and artisans' quarters come to life in this old city, where in 1876, the late Maharaja insisted the whole city be painted pink, the traditional colour of hospitality!

Our Samiksha range was inspired by relaxing on a rooftop sipping chai and watching the sunset fall over the city's pink walls giving off a glorious rosy hue.

Our pure silk cushion cover has a main panel of dusky rose silk, bordered with chocolate silk, an embroidered paisley design and hand sewn cream beads, which sparkle and shimmer in the light, finished off with ornate pink and silver lacquered tassels at each corner!
