Heritage Tables

Paul Simpson founded his company Heritage Tables in 1995, the inspiration to create the Castle Jigsaw Table coming from his son Tom’s school holiday project to build a trebuchet.

The first collection of tables he launched commercially were inspired by the beautiful 14th century Bodiam Castle in East Sussex. Today this collection has broadened to include coffee and games tables in varying sizes as well as dining tables.

The Windsor Castle Drinks Cabinet Table was introduced to the range in May 2006 at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in front of the cameras of BBC2’s Dragons’ Den who were filming a follow up programme to the series called Where are they now?

Paul prides himself on his dedication to the pursuit of excellence in the design and creation of fine furniture. Heritage Tables draws on centuries of excellence in the British tradition of cabinet-making and architecture, and to this applies a modern interpretation creating contemporary items that have their own distinct identity and freshness.
