Fabulous earrings that have been made with 1940's transparent ruby red glass teardrops. These wonderful jewels are faceted on the front and have a gold foil back which reflects the light beautifully and gives a good, rich depth of colour.
There are also three 1940's cherry red nailhead beads which, like the teardrops, are faceted on one side and flat on the other.
The beads are attached to earwires that have a teardrop feature, echoing the ruby jewel. They are very elegant and sure to provide a good dose of vintage glamour.
The earrings measure 5.5cm in length from the point at which the beads meet the earwire. The teardrop measures approx 2cm x 1.5cm at the widest bottom part.
These earrings are packaged in a lovingly designed pouch made from beautiful vintage fabrics.
