Hanging by a Fred is a creative business inspired by my fathers lifelong love of climbing and all things outdoors. Sadly we lost the original Freddie in 2015 after a short battle with Cancer that he bravely fought.

As part of my healing process I looked to the creative arts as a source of comfort and therapy. Having a large supply of climbing rope that held such potential and fond memories I decided to upcycle it and began weaving mats and bowls for friends and family, as well as designing statement womens jewellery.

The Survival range of products has come from my love of the outdoors and fondness for gadgets and things in miniature. I am creating new designs all of the time that make perfect gifts for dads and the outdoor enthusiast, so watch this space!
