Award-winning, seriously good organic botanical cleanser and toner, full of plant-power from Great Elm, searching out grime and giving nourishment to hard-working skin. Make them part of your daily routine, morning and/or evening, to deep cleanse your skin before applying oils, creams or make-up. Soapwort is a fabulously gentle but effective plant (you could even grow it and use it yourself!) and a traditional cleanser as its name relates. We've mixed it with some good nourishing oils which help both to cleanse and feed the skin. Our toners contain NO alcohol, just pure floral waters.
Choose your skin type's Gentle Cleanser and Gentle Toner
All our gentle cleansers combining the deep cleansing and moisturising properties of soapwort with the fresh, purifying characteristics of floral waters in a nourishing honey, seed oil base. We use a soapwort root infusion which foams gently. It has been used for centuries as a wash for people, wool and cloth and is still used by archivists to cleanse ancient manuscripts because of its gentle efficacy.
