Nude Pregnancy Portrait Studio Session by Grace Vane Percy
When it comes to nude pregnancy portraiture there’s so much more available nowadays than having your partner take a quick snap shot with your point and shoot. The only problem is finding the right photographer with the right vision, i.e. your own, of your newly discovered womanhood. For so many women pregnancy is a time when, it all does truly seem to come together. It’s during the heralding of this new chapter in your life when, often for the first time, you can really enjoy your body, finding confidence through this fulfilment of the purpose for which it was designed.
This two hour session includes all film and processing costs but prints are charged separately (please see the drop down menu).
I work on Black & White, medium format film, you will receive your own set of photographic contact sheets to keep in a meeting (or by post if abroad or preferred) after the session. I will also keep an identical set so we can discuss the photographs you like and the prints you wish to have made at any time in the future. At the post session meeting we can discuss printing and framing options, prints can then be ordered at the time or at a later date.
Within the session we will just try a mixture of things and see what works best, I have my poses I would normally try. But of course the idea is to achieve a really atmospheric picture, so it’s about seeing what looks good.
The photographs are shot simply and classically, with minimal styling, so make-up and hair need to be done by you (or by someone else before hand). I recommend just light make up and naturally styled hair.
