I am passionate about vintage fabrics and haberdashery. Many of the fabrics I use are from the 1940's and 50's - definitely my favourite era for textiles. Some of the fabrics I use are recycled and some have been tucked away and are being used for the first time. Everything on offer at gorgeous is handmade in the UK by me in small batches depending on how much of a particular fabric I have. I hope this gives my designs a 'homespun' feel and an old fashioned appeal. I offer an ever changing collection of gifts and seasonal decorations inspired by whichever gorgeous fabric I happen to find.

The clocks are going back which means Winter has arrived and with it the count down to Christmas. I have just added new designs of my best selling Vintage Fabric Bauble to the gorgeous pages both covered in stunning fabrics from the 1940's or thereabouts. Also new are 2 designs of Christmas Stocking one with Cherubs and one with Leaves.
