This inovative, hand held Potato Harvesting Scoop tool makes the perfect gift for the vegetable gardener who has almost everything!
We love this beautifully crafted, mid-handled hard wood tool that will be much loved and used, season after season.
A modern interpretation of the traditional potato 'grate', it is designed not to stab your potatoes when harvesting them. The bar across the end of the tines prevents accidental stabbing, whilst the tines spacing and shape allows potatoes to be sifted from the soil.
Ideal for use in potato or vegetable planting bags. If using directly in the ground, we recommend that you loosen the soil around the plants first as it is likely to be more compact.
This unique, mid-handled tool is forged from quality stainless steel, with a hard wood handle and leather thong for hanging when not in use. Comes complete with gift card attached.
Size: overall length 49cm
Scoop size: L18.5cm x W15cm x D6cm - please see other images to help illustrate the size of the scoop.

I think the photo on the site should give some sense of the size. Showing it in someone's hand would give a better idea, it was much smaller than I thought it would be.
