For Me and For You Designs

For Me & For You Designs create beautiful art for your home. We always want to create pieces we would want ourselves, ensuring we're happy creating for you.

Thank you for visiting our store. We are husband and wife team, Stewart and Jacqueline. We design, make and sell a range of intricate artwork, unusual tableware and personalised gifts in a range of materials from plywood to precious metals all created from our small studio in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

Our journey started 5 years ago when we began making pieces for our daughters nursery. She's now a bubbly 5 year old with a 2 year old brother. We wanted to have nice things for our house but didn't have much money. What we did have was a good eye for design and access to a lasercutter. We started making for ourselves as well as gifts for other people. Soon they started asking us to make gifts for them to give, and For Me & For You Designs was born.

How we make our pieces

Taking inspiration from what is all around us.

We're really fortunate to live on the doorstep of the Peak District, with an abundance of beautiful scenery all around us. When we first began this journey we started looking for inspiration in the photographs that we had taken from trips out to the likes of Lyme Park, Chatsworth House and Bakewell. We quickly settled on a number of images that were the beginnings of our artwork range. Winter Tree's and Summer Flowers in meadows became intricate woodcut scenes that we could lasercut perfectly.

We are continually refining our process and developing our design skills. Our range is constantly evolving, but is still influenced by our surroundings. Trees, leaves, animals, flowers and the rolling countryside on the other side of our front door are all part of what we make.

We mostly now work from photographs, producing work that is both Natural and Abstract. We also undertake commissions using your own photos, creating unique artwork that is just for you and your family.

All our products come with free postage, so you don't need to worry about any additional costs.

We try to be as eco-friendly as possible, so all our pieces come boxed in recycled materials, and packaged with biodegradable tape
