I live in Manchester with my husband and two children.
With a degree in computer science my career has been as a website developer, but at the beginning of 2010 I felt the need for a more creative outlet and set up Flaming Imp, which is now my full-time focus.
Flaming Imp began with greeting cards and kids fun educational posters, created by taking close up photos of fabric and then using those photos in a collage effect. Things have changed a lot since then!
I discovered the kawaii cute style and fell in love with it. I really enjoy drawing cute designs and it helped me find my own unique, recognisable style. New designs that I create are now almost exclusively in this style, usually science pun themed that hopefully bring a smile, and are perfect for science students, teachers, lab techs etc.
My range now mainly consists of mugs, notebooks, notepads, journals, greeting cards, stickers and insulated drinks bottles. Some of my designs can also be personalised.
