This is a chair for those who love pink. Silky is every little girl's dream with her long flowing mane to plait. The picture of Silky is a swirl of colour, an illustrator's tour de force.
The accompanying illustrated story book tells the tale of Silky who longs to be a celebrity and lives in a world of fantasy and make believe.
This rocking chair has passed BSEN1022 for stability and also complies with EN71 part 3. All varnishes and colours used are water based and are safe for children, as is the final scratch proof coating which protects the illustration of Silky.
Beautifully crafted and ethically sourced this chair is made by hand by a co-operative in Poland. Four coats of varnish are sanded down between coats to produce a smooth tactile lustre. The quality is superb.
