We love these little owls. Orville is blue and Olivia is pink. They have huge eyes, cute little beaks and tiny wings without any stuffing that are ideal for little fingers to grab.
In choosing Orville or Olivia you will be helping sustain fairly paid employment in rural Bangladesh. They were hand crocheted there by women working for a none profit organisation. The organisation helps families stay together by providing employment in a village setting close to the women's homes rather than in a city. Mothers are able to stay with their children and earn money to support them.
Orville or Olivia would make a lovely gift to welcome a new born baby or to take to a baby shower, naming ceremony, Christening or Baptism. They would also make a great birthday gift for a baby or toddler.
Orville and Olivia are approximately 9 cm tall. They are made from 100% cotton. They are machine washable at 40 degrees and can be tumble dried on a low setting. CE (European safety standard) certified and suitable from birth.
