Erinnies

Hello, my name is Emma and I am the designer/maker behind Erinnies.

Erinnies began when my youngest started school and I found I had more time to indulge in making items for our home.

I am a self-taught screen printer and more recently have started laser cutting which has opened up a whole new world of possibilities. All of my items are made in my home studio in the South of England. Each part of the process is done by myself, from the designing and drawing, through to the laser cutting, making the screen prints and the printing of the items.

I use only water based inks as they are environmentally friendly. Using these inks also give the finished item a soft natural finish as the fabric fibres are dyed. The dye is then heat set allowing the item to be washed and ironed.

Every piece is carefully created one piece at a time.

The items I design are inspired by the things I love and surround myself with, reading, drawing, cushions and pillows. And also the natural world, night skies, animals and lots of plants.
