Grow beetroot from your wrapping paper!
You’ll be known to make the best beets in town with this wrapping paper!
Eden’s Paper is 100% Plantable Wrapping Paper. It's a gift within a gift! So, instead of throwing your wrapping paper in the bin, you can now plant it to grow things like broccoli, onions, wild flowers, carrots and tomatoes!
Once the paper has been planted in the soil, the paper immediately begins to biodegrade leaving the seeds to grow into champion veg or flowers.
How cool is that?
Eden’s Paper has nine plantable wrapping papers, these are broccoli, carrot, tomato, bell pepper, beetroot, gem lettuce and onion. We also have flowers, including wildflowers, and a sunflower wrapping paper.
Aside from bringing out further veg varieties, Eden’s Paper will be bringing out herbs, fruits and further flowered papers too.
The scope for the products is endless and they are perfect to compliment gifts for an array of occasions, from Valentine's, to birthdays, and christenings to Christmas.
Eden’s Paper makes any gift that extra bit special.
Our paper is made from 100% recycled paper. The seeds are embedded on the back of the wrapping paper in seven layers of biodegradable tissue paper. The Wrapping paper and tissue paper layers use no glues to hold them together, as glues are harmful to the soil.
How are the layers of paper held together then?
The layers of printed paper with the wrapping paper designs on, and layers of tissue paper containing the seeds are held together through an embossing process carried out during manufacture. Each layer of paper is interlocked with the one above it, sandwiching the seeds between them. This means no seeds can fall out of the paper, and ensures that no glues are used in the manufacturing process to bind the layers together.
What about the ink used on the paper, isn’t that bad for the soil?
Even the ink used in the printing process is vegetable-based, so this is an entirely earth-friendly product.
