They are hand crafted in the Uk using an innovative material made from recycling vending machine coffee cups and yogurt pots.
The cupsand yogurt pots are collected through a "save-a-cup" scheme within the UK. They are cleaned, shredded and melted down into small pellets. Once in pellet, they mould them into a variety of products.
The material is lovely solid, heavy and it feels much like slate but smoother.
