A fabulous hand-crafted aide memoire blackboard, ideal for keeping track of busy lives.
The chalkboard is 122cm tall and 77cm wide at its widest point. It is 10cm deep at the bottom and 7.5cm deep at the top.
The white version is painted using Dulux ‘white satin’ and the solid oak version is finished with Danish oil. Both of these finishes are hard-wearing under normal everyday conditions. It should be noted that oak is a natural product and as such will change its tone and appearance with age.
The satin version can of course be re-painted to any colour.
I have found the best way to clean the chalk away is with baby wet wipes (plus we seem to always have a ready supply) but a damp cloth does the job just as well.
This product is ideal for anyone who likes to see at a glance what the week has in store. In our house we wipe clean on a Sunday and chalk on the info that we have in our regular diaries and, of course, the Blackberry. We even have colour-coded chalk for each family member to simplify things further.
