Handcrafted book style Kindle cover in classic 'Strawberry Thief' print designed by William Morris, father of the Arts & Crafts Movement for Liberty's of London.
I've tried to stick to the spirit of the Arts & Crafts movement when handcrafting this case. The timeless and beautiful print with little birds is nicely offset with natural linen, and the case fastens with a handcrafted wooden button and elastic loop.
The perfect gift for anyone who appreciates great design, or simply an extra-special treat for yourself.
This handcrafted cover is designed to hold your Kindle in place without slipping while you read. When not in use, the kindle can be removed from the elastics and stored in the pocket on the left where it will be held securely when the case is closed. In the case of Kindle Fire Models, the cover has wider elastics and a looser pocket to accommodate the depth of the Kindle.
Lightweight, soft and easy to hold, this cover can be folded back while you read without loosing its shape.
This case is made in a range of sizes to fit the regular Kindle 4, Kindle Touch, Kindle Paperwhite and ipad mini.
The case is made with Liberty of London tana lawn cotton printed with William Morris's iconic design 'Strawberry Thief'. The high quality of this fabric means that the print is high resolution with very fine detail. The very close weave of the cotton makes it soft and strong, and incredibly smooth to the touch. The inside of the cover is lined with herringbone linen. The spine of the case is made with heavyweight furnishing quality linen to protect the spine from wear and tear. The case is interlined with soft cotton padding and a specialist interliner that makes the case both flexible and strong.
The case fastens with a cute wooden button and elastic loop.
