Clare Gage

Clare Gage's elegant collection of tableware is an intimate fusion of handcrafted textiles and delicate ceramics.

Every piece of Clare's work is carefully formed from handwoven fabrics, transformed into tailormade moulds and created in porcelain. Each item is a modern day treasure, eclectic, individual and yet completely functional.

Clare Gage was awarded the 2007 Design Directions: Ceramic Futures award and was Editor's Choice at the Country Living Spring Fair 2009. She has been shortlisted for many national and international awards and was featured in the Independent's Information magazine as one of the 50 Best Christmas Gifts for Women 2008.

Clare is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is based at her studio in Chesterfield on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District.
